All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Question1: Would an external AOM or EOM as an intensity modulator be acceptable? Answer1: An external AOM or EOM would be acceptable provided that the beam stays in fiber throughout the system and the intensity at the end of the final fiber meets the minimum power requirements.
