AMENDMENT I - The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions from industry. Question I - For Line Item 0002, Firm Fixed Price (BASE CLIN): Do you want pricing for 5 computer systems for the equipment listed on Appendix II? Does NIST have the software already and just need us to load on the computer? Or does NIST require the software version listed as well? Answer - Yes, the government needs the listed 5 computer systems and the pricing is required. The government needs software systems required for the listed instruments; the “versions” may vary for a specific instrument. Question II - For Line Item 003, Firm Fixed Price (BASE CLIN): Is the computer for the LC-MS system listed on Appendix III? Does NIST require the software as well or can provide the software? Answer - Yes, this computer system (# 6) is for the LC-MS instrument and the government requests the software. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged as a result of this amendment. COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION 1333ND20QNB640184 Maintenance of Multiple Agilent Instruments This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 – Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a separate written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued under the authority of FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for maintenance of multiple Agilent Instruments. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular (FAC) 2020-05, effective 03/30/2020. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219. This acquisition is being procured using Full and Open (unrestricted) competition. The National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST), Biomolecular Division, requires maintenance of multiple Agilent Technologies instruments in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
