This turn-key system collects helium gas that is produced and collected at end-user stations in three rooms withing the NCNR building. The helium recovery process involves transportation, compression, storage, purification and liquefaction of this helium in various subsystems. The Helium Recovery System must operate as an automated system that operates 24/7 using industrial Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s).
