The Contractor shall provide a quantity of two (2) liquid nitrogen (LN2) dewars, which include LN2 recycling, to maintain HPGe gamma-ray detectors at operational temperatures (77 K). The dewars shall be designed to be compatible with commercial high purity germanium gamma-ray detectors, equipped with dipsticks, without additional modifications of the dipsticks. NIST currently operates multiple gamma counting systems that use AMETEK/Ortec and Mirion/Canberra HPGe gamma-ray detectors and dipsticks.
