The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to respond to technical questions submitted. The following questions and responses are hereby provided: 1. Question: Will the Government consider -20 degrees Fahrenheit (-29.88 Celsius)? Response: No, NIST requires a freezer that maintains a temperature of -30 degrees C. 2. Question: The written specifications call for the Walk-in Freezer Refrigeration to be a drop in type where the Evaporator shall NOT be hanging inside the Walk-In. There isn't a drop in type Refrigeration System that has enough BTU's to handle the -30 degrees C requirement. Response: The cooling units are to sit on the top of the walk-in with the opening into the unit from the inside. It does not hang down into the unit. These systems are called top mount units and are also referred to as capsule pack units. The specifications remain unchanged. The due date for the quotations remains unchanged.
