71--Procurement of Twenty-One (21) Herman Miller Chair
The NOAA Office of Marine and Aviation Operations seeks to procure 21 Herman Miller ergonomic officer chairs for the bridge and designated workspaces aboard the NOAA Ship Fairweather. This is a total small business set-aside, brand-name requirement, and quotes will only be accepted from authorized Herman Miller distributors/resellers. The chairs must be shipboard-rated, corrosion-resistant, and meet specific ergonomic, safety, and warranty standards, with delivery to the NOAA Ship Fairweather at 2002 SE Marine Science before fiscal year 2027. Evaluation will consider technical approach, past performance, and price, with non-price factors significantly more important than price, and a firm-fixed-price purchase order is anticipated on an all-or-none basis.
