This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for aftercooler core servicing on the NOAA Ship Thomas Jefferson, performed on the NOAA Ship Ferdinand Hassler at three different locations and times: Morehead City, NC from April 27 to May 1, 2026; Norfolk, VA from June 22-26, 2026; and Charleston, SC from September 7-10, 2026. The acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 336611 (Ship Building and Repairing) with a 1,300-employee size standard. The government will award a firm-fixed-price contract based on best value, considering past experience/performance and price. Vendors must be an authorized or certified Caterpillar service provider and provide detailed past performance references for similar work. Required submission documentation includes an itemized cost breakdown, a performance plan, proof of liability insurance, and agreement with all RFQ terms.
