Information must include the following characteristics of the pier: • Location • Pier number and/or name • Street address, city, state, and zip code • Geographic reference to a current navigational chart using longitude and latitude coordinates. • Length • Width c) CLIN 0002, 0005 and 0006 are options CLINS vendor shall provide quote for these Option CLINS under FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, in the solicitation and resultant contract is for use by the Government as outlined at FAR 37.111, Extension of Services. The option will be exercised as needed at any time during the life of the contract using the rates applicable at the time of exercise. d) All options CLINS will be evaluated as part of the overall price. Would you accept a large diesel generator on the pier and provide bare end cables with lugs as a NATO plug will also not be available. 1A. It's not ideal, but it will have to work. 2Q Two part question: Optional Telescoping/ Telehandler Forklift Support Aprox 10k-- (2) four hour days and operator with 24-48 hour advance notice for the day of arrival and departure. What does it mean ‘approx. 10K’? A. 10,000 LBS LIFTING CAPACITY (2) four hour days and operator with 24-48 hour advance notice for the day of arrival and departure, does it mean 4h on the day of arrival and 4h day on the day of departure per each port call? Total of 32h for (4) port calls? A.Yes 3Q 0006 OPTION SERVICES. Additional Services not scheduled, no price is required at this time, right? 3A. Correct, No price is required at this time, this stating that additional Government funds maybe be allocated as place holder for additional unanticipated services if needed. 2. (1) Contract security guard (unarmed) for pier conducting for 16 days (Approximately 384 hours) + (1) Contract security guard (unarmed) for vessel and pier conducting 24 hourly rounds of vessel for 14 days (Approximately 336 hours). The total port call days sum up to 33 days, but you are only requesting 30 days, how is the hours will be distributed per port call? A1. We will only require shipboard security during our long in port. During the three day port calls we will be in our COVID bubble and no one will be allowed aboard. The schedule that I provided in the SOW is pretty close to our requirements. I can provide a better schedule as we get closer. Q2. Dumpster/Garbage located on or near the pier service to include all disposal fees, domestic garbage only (no dunnage), approximately 9 cubic yards. Is 9 cubic yards expected per port call or is it expected for all 7 port calls? A2. - 1X9 cu yard dumpster per port call. We will need to discharge trash each time we pull into port. Q3. What berth is the ship is porting? A3. We have not reserved anything is up to you the vendors to find us a berthing based on based on the requirement on the statement of work. Q4. Is the one15brooklin Marina an option and is the ship open to the public? A4. The ship already has spoken to this Marina previously before the solicitation was posted and the issue with this Marina is that they did not have adequate shore power connections. We can use this Marina for short port calls but not the longer duration. Furthermore due to COVID policies, we are not allow to have visitors onboard the ship. In addition we are not restricting the port service to just Brooklyn, this requirement is for the New York area which also includes New Jersey, Staten Island and Manhattan. 2.
