A1: "If there is a cost associated with parking"; then please provide 8 parking slots during our daily stay for rental cars and/ or government vehicles; the cost of these 8 parking slots "shall be identified as part of the bid" either as part of the quote or as a separate line item. Post questions and answers from interested vendors as follows: Q1: Is this restricted to hotel's only or may third-party vendors present on behalf of a hotel? A1: Typically business who bids on this type of solicitations are hotel managements, travel agency, travel arrangement reservation, travel accommodation, housing management. So if you are in that sort of field and can comply with the entire solicitation including the clauses and provisions, then we would ask to provide the name of the hotel and ensure that the hotel selected is within the requirement of what we are looking for. I would suggest to look at the hotel quality ratings. The number of rooms will fluctuate during the period of performance based on the actual days the ship is uninhabitable and the number of crew in a working or duty status. Therefore this may affect the total of room nights used per day; furthermore the Government shall not be charged for any unused rooms. A list of attendees will be sent separately by the POC after the Award; updated rooming lists will be provided to the hotel as frequently as possible. Properties will accept early departures without additional costs or penalties *** If additional room nights are needed over the initial request of 440 room nights, and rooms are available, then rates will be at the per room/night rate offered during the initial contract.
