Inactive Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5)

This amendment clarifies an HVAC repair/replacement project at NOAA’s federally owned Miami, Florida campus, including the Coral Lab, warehouse, and lab spaces. The prime contractor must be licensed, bonded, and insured, hold all requirements, and provide at least three relevant past performance references; subcontractors must also be licensed, trained, and relevantly experienced. The work includes complete replacement of specified systems for Tasks 4 and 5, like-for-like rooftop unit replacements, and coordination of cooling outages, with Miami-Dade product approval required for exterior-mounted equipment but no county mechanical permits or inspections. Offerors must provide one firm-fixed price for CLIN 0001 covering the complete 60-day requirement, with project closeout/punch list within 52 days of award. Normal work hours are 7:00 am–4:00 pm ET Monday–Friday excluding federal holidays, with after-hours work only if approved and escorted, and all outages must be coordinated in advance.
