The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Narragansett, Rhode Island, requires preventative maintenance and on-call repair services for Cummings diesel generator for base year plus four option years, as specified in the solicitation and statement of work. Period of Performance (base plus (4) Option Years): 6 March 2024 through 5 March 2029. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE. The proposed solicitation is issued as a small business set aside. The NAICS code is 811310 with a size standard of $12.0M. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-02, effective January 22, 2024. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the best value considering past performance and price. RFQ is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts, 12, 13 and 15 via the Federal Contracts Opportunities via SAM.gov website https://sam.gov/content/home. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the SAM Federal Contract Opportunities site all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on or about February 27, 2024. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition) and FAR Part 15 (Contract Negotiation)). All responsible small business concerns/sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Firms offering a response to this notice shall ensure that they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), https://sam.gov/content/home , prior to submission of proposals.
