The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Woods Hole, Massachusetts, requires repairs and load bank testing to an Emergency Generator (EG) in order provide electrical power to the NMFS/NEFSC Woods Hole laboratory building in the event of a commercial power failure as specified in the solicitation and statement of work. Period of Performance: 25 Sept 2023 through 22 Dec 2023. Department of Labor Wage Determination (as incorporated) is applicable to the work. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 238210 with a size standard of $19.0M. Solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-05, effective August 8, 2023. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13, Simplified Procedures. The Government anticipates awarding a single firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the Best Value based on price and non-price evaluation factors. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the SAM.gov site for the solicitation release and all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on or around Sept 19, 2023. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 (Commercial Acquisition) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition)). All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Firms offering a response to this notice shall ensure that they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, prior to submission of proposals. All vendors doing business with the Government are required to be registered and active within SAM. Award will not be issued to vendors not actively registered within SAM.
