The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration/ National Marine Fisheries Service/ Office of Law Enforcement (OLE), has a requirement for ammunition and transitional targets: Hornady Critical Duty 9mm Luger 135 Grain +P FlexLock – 125,000 Rounds 9mm Luger Frangible Lead Free Ammunition – 38,000 Rounds Transtar II Transitional Target – Qty 4,800 The RFQ number is 1333MF20QNFFK0010; hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FBO site for all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date is be on or about January 22, 2020. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm -fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. To be eligible for award, vendors must obtain a DUNS number (this may be done by calling 1-800-333-0505) and be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.SAM.gov. Bidders shall be authorized by Hornady Manufacturing to sell Hornady ammunition to the Federal Government. The Government reserves the right to issue single or multiple awards for this requirement. The RFQ documents and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04, effective January 15, 2020. The proposed award is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 332992 with a size standard of 1250 employees.
