The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Milford, Connecticut requires to procure Data Sondes Units and Accessories to be delivered no later than May 25, 2023 to support the NEFSC scientific operations for water quality monitoring to accompany monthly assessments of oyster disease characterization and population biometrics as specified in the solicitation and statement of work. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE. The proposed award is on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS code is 334516 with a size standard of 1000 EMP. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-01, effective December 30, 2022. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the best value considering technical capability (essential salient features), past performance, delivery and price. RFQ is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Contracts Opportunities via SAM.gov website https://sam.gov/content/home. The solicitation number is 1333MF-23-Q-NFFM-0011? Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the SAM Federal Contract Opportunities site all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on or about 27 January 2023. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition)).
