The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Woods Hole, Massachusetts, requires to procure one (1) inline ultra-violet (UV) disinfection of marine water for marine mammal habitat to be delivered no later than 31 October 2022 to support the NEFSC scientific operations (aquarium support) as specified in the solicitation and statement of work. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE. The proposed award will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS code is 339113 with a size standard of 750 Employees. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06, effective May 26, 2022. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the best value considering price, technical capability (approach to inline ultraviolet disinfection of marine water for marine mammal habitat, and past performance. RFQ is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Contracts Opportunities via SAM.gov website https://sam.gov/content/home. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the SAM Federal Contract Opportunities site all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on or about August 23, 2022. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition)).
