The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Woods Hole, Massachusetts, requires to procure one (1) harbor seal squeeze crate to be delivered no later than 120 days after receipt of order to support the NEFSC scientific operations (aquarium support) as specified in the solicitation and statement of work. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE. The proposed award is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 332999 with a size standard of 750 Employees. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-07, effective August 10, 2022. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the best value considering price, technical capability (approach to harbor seal squeeze crate), and past performance. RFQ is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the Federal Contracts Opportunities via SAM.gov website https://sam.gov/content/home. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the SAM Federal Contract Opportunities site all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on or about August 15, 2022. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition)).
