The mission of NOAA's Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) is to provide and ensure timely access to global environmental data from satellites and other sources to promote, protect, and enhance the Nation's economy, security, environment and quality of life. To accomplish its mission, NESDIS regularly participates in exhibit outreach events to government as well as corporate partners and decision makers. As such, NESDIS will participate in the Space Foundation's 36th Space Symposium as an exhibitor to meet and educate various external audiences on NOAA's satellites plus their subsequent data and services. Through constituent outreach efforts such as exhibit events at scientific and educational conferences, NESDIS personnel strive to foster and increased the public's understanding of NESDIS' products and services. In addition, federal, state and local government decision makers gain a further appreciation and knowledge of the NOAA remotely sensed imagery and documentation accessible for addressing public safety concerns such as flooding or forest fires. This contract is for the reservation/rental of a 20 X 20 foot exhibit space and meeting space for the use and controlled by NOAA NESDIS personnel.
