This amendment formally extends the response deadline. The USPTO is still answering questions and anticipates posting Amendment 0002 by Friday with answers to the questions and any corresponding changes to the RFP. ******************************************************************************** The purpose of this action is to post Amendment 0002 which provides the following information: (1) Question and Answers (note four of the questions received will be answered in a subsequent amendment); (2) Revisions to the Request for Proposals and associated attachments based on the Questions received; (3) An extension of the Question and Answer period to October 13, 2020; and (4) An extension of the due date to October 19, 2020. ******************************************************************************** The purpose of this action is to post Amendment 0003 and updated documents. Please note that the SF30 documents accompanying each amendment do not require signature and submission with your proposals. This effort has taken considerable time given the interest in the procurement. Earlier today (July 22, 2021) you should have received an email from the USPTO requesting an extension of the validity of your proposal through September 30, 2021. If you have not received this request, please email the Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist immediately. We anticipate completing the competitive range determination prior to the close of FY21 and will update the field if that date will shift. ******************************************************************************** EASS Offerors: This update is to advise you that the competitive range determination has been delayed. Please also note the updated points of contact below to reflect the removal of Samantha Moore who is no longer with the USPTO. Please advise if you are not able to extend the validity of your proposal by an additional 60 days. The USPTO will consider proposals to be valid unless otherwise informed by the parties. Revalidation will occur once a competitive range is established (if so) consistent with the terms of the RFP. There is no need to re-affirm proposal validity at this time unless a party is unable to extend validity.
