This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This RFQ is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05, Effective 5/22/2024. This RFQ is issued as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside Competitive Solicitation and the Government's Requirements are titled: UPS Preventative Maintenance. The NAICS Code 811210--Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $34 Million is applicable to Government’s Requirements. This Solicitation is for the semi-annual preventive maintenance visits. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) requires semi-annual preventive maintenance visits for the Uninterruptible Power Sources (UPS) for the Office of Satellite and Product Operations (OSPO) at the NOAA Command and Data Acquisition Stations located in Fairbanks, AK and Barrow, AK. If there are questions on this RFQ, they shall be submitted no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) Friday, August 23, 2024. Quotations are due by Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10:00AM EST.
