(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation number is 1332KP20BNEEB0009, and this solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-08 dated August 13, 2020. (IV) This solicitation is being issued on the basis of full and open competition. The associated NAICS code is 335312 with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. (V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial services and products: CLIN 0001 (FIRM FIXED PRICE (FFP)): The contractor shall provide five (5), each Tachometer Assemblies (P/N 603515-5D), manufactured by ABB Industries. Each unit should have a 19-volt output per 1,000 RPM of rotation. The units are attached to a specific stub shaft, which in turn is attached to the drive motors. The tachometer is a motor armature/winding assembly with spring loaded carbon “brush” contactors and should be compatible with the existing 21M Antenna System.
