J--NWS HVAC PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE (PM) WFO AND NEXRA
This is a request for quotations for commercial HVAC preventive maintenance services at two National Weather Service locations: the Weather Forecast Office in Charleston, SC and the NEXRAD site in Early Branch, SC. The contract will be a single firm-fixed-price purchase order awarded on a low-price technically acceptable basis, covering a base year and four option years. Key clarifications include: the past performance and technical experience of clearly identified subcontractors with signed teaming agreements will be considered; unscheduled emergency repair parts will be priced via estimates approved by the TPOC with a reasonable markup; annual replacement batteries for controllers and VFDs are expected to be nominal cost; and scheduled consumables like steam cylinders and filters are factored into the scheduled maintenance price. Service Contract Act wage determinations are included, and there is no incumbent contractor for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation.
