The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), NOAA Fisheries, Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC) intends to post a solicitation for laboratory repairs and replacement services on SAM.gov. The services include repairs and replacement of various systems and fixtures at the Santa Cruz Laboratory facility. REQUIREMENTS: SWFSC, Santa Cruz Laboratory requires compressed air system improvements, plumbing repairs, HVAC repairs, walk-in freezer improvements, lighting repairs, and a fresh-water chiller replacement to improve the safety and efficiency of the Santa Cruz Laboratory. The contractor shall furnish, install and confirm through testing all repairs and work is complete and systems are working properly. Services shall be complete in all respects and include labor, tools, materials, equipment. Subcontracts, and all support engineering and engineering plan drawings including any and all work required for this procurement. This procurement’s period of performance is anticipated to be September 2, 2024 through September 1, 2025 with no option periods with work to be performed in Santa Cruz, California. A comprehensive list of requirements will be included in the Request for Proposal (RFP). This notice is not a solicitation, a request for proposal (RFP), request for quote (RFQ), nor an invitation for bid (IFB). This notice does not guarantee that a solicitation for this anticipated contract action will be issued and does not guarantee, implied or otherwise, that a contract will be awarded for this anticipated contract action. The proposed contract action is set aside 100% for small businesses. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, and the small business size standard for this requirement is $45 million. It is highly encouraged that any small business meeting this size standard and desiring to be considered for award be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) using this NAICS code. It should be noted that offerors must be registered in SAM prior to submission of an offer. For additional information and to register in SAM, please access the following web site: https://sam.gov/. Solicitation documents are anticipated to be made available for download on or about June 18, 2024 at https://sam.gov/. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties may use the “follow” feature to monitor changes to this notice, including Request for Proposal (RFP) posting as well as all postings of information associated with this solicitation thereafter. Each potential offeror is responsible for checking https://sam.gov/ to gain all current information related to the solicitation. The solicitation and any further announcements regarding the solicitation will be posted only at https://sam.gov/.
