The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) of the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is intends to post a solicitation for janitorial services on SAM.gov. The services include Janitorial services for two buildings approximately 40,000 sq. ft. per building. The two buildings are located at 74 Magruder Road, Highlands, NJ 07732. The NEFSC has a responsibility to maintain a safe, clean, organized, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environment for the staff and visitors. REQUIREMENTS: Janitorial Services – Ensure services are performed in a manner that ensures the health and safety of Federal employees and members of the public; and, both the sanitary conditions and esthetic appearance of Federal buildings. Superior customer service and well-maintained facilities that present a clean, neat and professional appearance shall be furnished A comprehensive list of requirements will be included in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Contractor shall furnish all necessary personnel and equipment, required in the performance of work which will be provided in the RFQ. The proposed contract action is set aside 100% for service-disable veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB). The associated NAICS code is 561720, and the business size standard for this requirement is $19.5 million. It is highly encouraged that any small business meeting this size standard and desiring to be considered for award be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) using this NAICS code or a NAICS code with an equivalent size standard.
