This project is for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) Western Region (WR), Weather Forecast Offices (WFO) for six (6) different locations, at Pendleton Oregon, Elko Nevada, Spokane Washington, Las Vegas Nevada, Eureka California and Pocatello Idaho. The WFO’s Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) are past the manufacturer's recommended service life. Every year past the service life puts each WFO at added risk of power outages due to the aging UPS. The objective is to remove and properly dispose of existing UPSs, battery cabinet, batteries, and any associated debris. Supply and install per site 1 each UPS, battery cabinet (if separate), batteries, maintenance bypass switch and transformer (if needed).
