This is a presolicitation notice for the design and construction of up to six NOAA Class C fisheries research vessels. The anticipated total performance period is approximately 5 years and 18 months, including an 18-month design phase and subsequent production options. The work will be performed at the contractor's facility. The government anticipates awarding up to three firm-fixed-price contracts for the initial design phase, with one of those awards reserved for a small business. Following the design phase, one contractor will be selected for the production phase to build the vessels.
