The high-performance Phase Noise and AM Noise Analyzer is intended to support first article testing at the National Weather Services’ Radar Operations Center. The system must meet stringent performance criteria for measuring low phase noise at RF input frequencies ranging from 1 MHz to 3.5 GHz and must support both continuous and pulsed signal testing, VCO characterization, and jitter analysis.
