This anticipated acquisition is to procure 20 (each) power supply kits for the National Logistics Support Center to be used in the thunderstorm sensors for the National Weather Service. These power supply kits are to be stocked as logistical spares and are issued to National Weather Service Automated Surface Observing Systems (ASOS) maintenance technicians to replace units which have failed at operational ASOS sites and to replace legacy wind sensors and power supply kits. This power supply electronic assembly specifically integrates into the ASOS thunderstorm model TSS928. These assemblies are required in order for the ASOS to generate thunderstorm observations which are required in for airport operations.
