Diagnostic inst... **GSA EBUY Notice RFQ1605780 Title: RF Analyzer Diagnostic Equipment Replacement The National Weather Service maintains a nationwide and international environmental monitoring network. Diagnostic instrumentation is required to maintain fielded observation systems used in the generation of watches, warnings and forecasts, and by key partners to the NWS for business, research and emergency services. These devices are used to keep the observation assets in good working order, maintain and extend their anticipated life cycle, and provide repairs from diagnosis when the equipment fails. Field technicians staged in strategic locations are charged with maintaining this diverse and widespread variety of electronic devices including weather radio transmitters, weather radars, and other surface environmental surface observation systems. It is the intention of the Government to set up ad acquisition to replace, through direct purchase to replace the current obsolete Radio Frequency (RF) Analyzer (IFR1200s RF Communications Analyzer) with the most modern efficient equipment. The Government plans to provide the best possible RF analyzer with diagnostic tools at the best possible price.
