The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Off ice of NationalMarine Sanctuaries (ONMS), Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary (GRNMS)requires a new vessel of approximately 54 feet in length overall (LOA),commercial duty, with an aluminum hull for use in research, resourceprotection, and education/outreach operations throughout the GRNMS area andup to approximately 80 nautical miles (NM) off shore. The vessel will homeport inSavannah, GA, and from there will support NOAA and partner scientists on awide variety of missions. This Request for Quotations (RFQ) is being conducted using FAR Part 13 procedures, in conjunction with FAR Part 12. AMENDMENT 0001: This amendment adds FAR clause 52.247-64, "Preference for Privately Owned U.S.-Flag Commercial Vessels" (incorporated by reference under FAR clause 52.212-5) to the RFQ. Offerors are not required to sign and return this amendment with their quotation packages. AMENDMENT 0002: This amendment extends the RFQ closing date from 29 August to 31 August at 2:00 PM Central Time. Offerors are not required to sign and return this amendment with their quotation packages.
