The DOC, NOAA, Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), ERAD has a requirement for meteorological observation data derived from existing surface-based observing networks called "mesonets". These meteorological observations are required to fill the gaps in the Nation's meteorological, hydrologic and related environmental observing capabilities to enable significantly improved prediction of high-impact, local-scale weather events. The Government anticipates awarding a single award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm Fixed Price provisions based on a best value basis. The period of performance of this procurement will be for five years. The solicitation will be competed as an unrestricted requirement. The North American Industry Classification Code System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 518210-Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services and the corresponding size standard is $32.5 Million. All responsible and fully responsive businesses may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Any resulting contract will be awarded as a IDIQ contract with Firm Fixed Price provisions.
