The U.S. Forest Service (USFS), Intermountain Zone, is issuing this Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources with the interest, capabilities, and industry technologies to provide road construction and reconstruction services. These services would primarily include (but would not be limited to) general road construction and reconstruction, emergency road construction due to major emergencies (i.e., landslides, blizzards, flooding, fire, etc.), road and/or parking area construction and maintenance, minor bridge construction, vegetative clearing and brushing, earthwork, culvert installation and repair, road/stream interaction projects, erosion control, sign installation and repair, cattleguard installation and repair, gate installation and repair (to include minor concrete forming and finishing), haul and placement of imported borrow or aggregate, and other related road work. The work performed may include new work, additions, alterations, maintenance, or repairs in the Intermountain and surrounding areas of the Forest Service.
