The USDA APHIS is seeking all interested sources capable of providing a 36-month warranty and license for one (1) PromethION 48 A Series device. The USDA APHIS is considering the use of a 3-year firm fixed priced contract. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541990 All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services. The size standard for this code is $19,500,000 for determination of small business status. Product Service Code is R499. The specifications for the product are as follows; Oxford Nanopore Technologies (Manufacturer) License and Warranty 36 months – PromethION 48 A Series Must Have Specifications/Technical Requirements (Salient Characteristics) Annual Preventative Maintenance As necessary, on-site service and repair of the PromethION. Rapid diagnostic evaluation of the instrument with repair work, all parts and service included. Hardware and software updates. There is no solicitation currently.
