This is a sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research. There is no solicitation at this time. The USDA APHIS is seeking capability statements from all sources interested in providing quarterly preventative maintenance of two (2 EA) Cleveland Electric Floor Model Mixer Kettles (model TMKEL-100-T). Maintenance services shall be performed at the USDA Mexican Fruit Fly Rearing Facility in Edinburg, TX. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811310. The size standard for this code is $8,000,000. Responses will be used to determine whether this requirement may be set-aside for small business or procured through full and open competition. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quote; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The maintenance requirements are as follows: The contractor shall service the following components during each maintenance visit: Switches Product Drain Valves Butterfly Valve Air Valve Lubrication – Trunnion housing and gear/worm assembly Bridge swivel assembly Kettle Console Cover On-Off Switch/Temperature Control Pressure Gauge Pressure Relief Valve Hydraulic Oil and Filter Solenoid Valves Circuit Board If you are an interested vendor, please provide the following information: 1) Business name and contact information 2) Business Size and confirmation of registration in SAM.gov by providing your SAM UEI Code 3) Capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort Electronic responses are required.
