The USDA Forest Service, Region 8 Contracting Office is conducting market research through this Sources Sought Notice for information related to small business vendors capable of providing a John Deere 6110M utility cab tractor for a ranger station in our region. New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 333111- which has a business size of 1,250 employees. The FSC code is 2420. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment by the Government to later publish a solicitation. This is not a request for bids, quotes, or proposals. This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses to assist with socio-economic set-aside feasible. If there are sufficient small business responses, this market research will be used as a basis for setting the forthcoming solicitation aside for small business concerns. If insufficient small business responses are received then the action will be advertised as full and open competition, in which case, all interested parties responding shall be eligible to bid once the solicitation is posted. Interested parties should submit with their response the following information no later than 09:00 AM EST June 10, 2020 to include company name, address, business size, any socioeconomic classification, and DUNS number.
