This is a This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice for market research purposes only. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is seeking all interested sources capable of performing temporary occupational medicine services in support of the occupational health program at the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility, Manhattan, KS. Work involves providing professional medical services on an as-needed basis to approximately 70 workers. Types of medical examinations include respiratory protection (medical clearance and fit testing), surveillance for hearing conservation, chemical exposure, and hazardous waste operator. Types of medical testing include audiometry, pulmonary function testing, and other miscellaneous occupational health tests or procedures that may be necessary based on emerging requirements. Work also includes USDA medical consultation requests and occupational health physicals; and management of medical documentation for employees for services performed by the contractor. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, facilities, supplies, and equipment to perform the services. The contractor must be Kansas state licensed. These services will be performed at the contractor’s facility and the facility must be located within 30 miles from the NBAF campus, 1980 Denison Ave, Manhattan, KS, 66502. The anticipated contract period of performance is six months, beginning May or June 2021, and six month option period. The Government contemplates a firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) type contract. All interested parties are invited to submit capability statements. Industry feedback on all aspects of the planned procurement is encouraged. The following outline is recommended for capability statements (5-page limit): 1. Business name, address, DUNS number, point of contact information 2. A statement of capability which demonstrates the ability to perform these services, including the location of the contractor’s facility 3. Examples of relevant past performance. Include dates, dollar amounts, description of services performed, and point of contact The acquisition strategy has not yet been determined. USDA APHIS reserves the right to determine if a small business set-aside is appropriate based upon the capability information provided in response to this notice, and other pertinent information gathered by the contracting officer. Respondents should ensure the information provided is detailed, current, accurate, and complete. Submit capability statements to Lisa Draves, lisa.a.draves@usda.gov, no later than April 6, 2021. This notice does not constitute a solicitation. This invitation for capability statements is for planning purposes only. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not reimburse any party for its participation in this effort. Information submitted in response to this notice is subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act.
