The U.S. Forest Service is seeking to acquire Ten Person Crew Carrier Body Only, mounted on Government-Furnished cab & chassis, in accordance with Forest Service Standard Specifications. The Contractor will provide these items in the required Quantity of twenty-nine (29), by predetermined, mandatory delivery dates. This work includes Pick-Up of Chassis in San Dimas, California and Delivery to various locations. Please refer to Request For Quote (RFQ) ATTACHMENT 2, “Ten Person Crew Carrier Apparatus Body Only Specification, June 2023” for further details. The proposed equipment will be used in support of Federal Government Wildland Fire activities. The USDA Forest Service National Fleet Equipment Office serves as the Central Ordering Office for National Standard Fire Apparatus and Equipment for Forest Service locations in the Continental United States. The Contractor is responsible for the performance of all Inspection requirements and Quality Control. The Forest Service is seeking Free On Board (FOB) Destination Pricing, unless otherwise specified in the Contract. An Offeror shall complete the RFQ ATTACHMENT 1, “Schedule of Items,” with its proposed pricing for the work. The anticipated Delivery Date of the Ten Person Crew Carrier, built according to USDA Forest Service Specifications, will be no later than 11 September 2025. Forest Service Destination Information or Delivery Addresses are identified in RFQ ATTACHMENT 3, “2023 Crew Carriers Delivery Addresses.” (These locations may be subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather, Fire conditions, etc.).
