The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal Plant Health Inspection Services, Plant Protection and Quarantine, Agricultural Research Center in Beltsville, MD is in need of a Firm Fixed Priced commercial service contract for four (4) inspections a year, one of which will be a Full Service Visit for 2 emergency generator systems . The inspections will include both generators, Kohler 750ROZD Generators serial numbers 387145 and 612282, IPS paralleling, switch gear , and sixteen (16) Kohler transfer switches. In accordance with Agricultural Acquisition Regulation (AGAR) 452.237-73 Equipment Inspection Visit (Feb 1988) Quoters are urged and expected to inspect the equipment on which maintenance or repairs are to be to satisfy themselves regarding all conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the equipment constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Site visits are at the discretion of the facility and are by appointment only.
