The USDA Food Production and Conservation Business Center, on behalf of the USDA NRCS Montana State Office, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source firm fixed price contract pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements to the Montana State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) PO Box 20102, Helena MT 59620. This requirement is to assist the USDA NRCS in complying with section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, to have access to the MT SHPO database to fulfill due diligence requirements for compliance with cultural resource procedures, to ensure that cultural resources are accounted for and protected, to include collection and dissemination of information collected in the state. Intent to Award Sole Source August 17, 2020 Response Date: August 14, 2020 @ 12noon Eastern Daylight Savings Time. NAICS Code: 518210 - Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Contracting Specialist, Oriel Velez at oriel.velez@usda.gov.
