The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, has a greenhouse at 801 Summit Crossing Place, Suite C, Gastonia NC, that needs grow lights replaced. We intend to issue a request for quotes to install 10 government-furnished Medic Grow EZ-8 1000W Full Spectrum LED Grow Lights to include new support framing, electrical supply and control wiring to existing control panel, electrical controls, GFI protection and electrical materials. Before installation, contractor must remove and dispose of 20 grow light fixtures, 20 ballasts, wiring, EMT conduit, support framing, and disconnect all control wiring on existing right-side planting beds. The estimated magnitude of the project is less than $25,000. The NAICS code is 238210, with a small business size standard of $19 million. The solicitation and all other documents related to this procurement will be available on SAM on or around June 18, 2024.
