The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, has a construction requirement at its National Center for Applied Plant Protection in Laurel, Maryland. NCAPP safeguards agricultural resources from the risks associated with the entry, establishment or spread of exotic plant diseases introduced into the United States. The requirement is to rebuild the interior of a lab that was recently destroyed by fire. The NAICS code is 236220, with a small business size standard of $45 million, and the estimated magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The project will be set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses concerns only.
