Spongy Moth Slow the Spread Mating Disruption
This is a sources-sought market research notice, not a solicitation; no proposals are being requested or accepted, no contract will be awarded from it, and no costs will be reimbursed. The USDA Forest Service’s National Spongy Moth Slow the Spread program seeks contractor interest and qualifications for mating disruption services using a racemic disparlure formulation to suppress spongy moth populations, performed across Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Minnesota, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin under a draft Performance Work Statement. Depending on responses, an RFQ and firm fixed-price contract may be contemplated. Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, and WOSB firms are invited to respond voluntarily, and the information gathered may influence acquisition strategy. Interested firms should provide company/UEI and POC details, size classification, and a brief statement of similar experience to the named contract specialists.
