USDA is seeking interested certified Federal Firearms License (FFL) vendors capable of procuring 36 Remington 870 SPS Marine Magnum shotguns to be delivered to Wasilla, AK no later than 15 February 2025. For interested vendors not located in Alaska, it will be their responsibility to coordinate delivery of the shotguns to a local FFL for further delivery to the customer. (See attached product description for shotgun). AMENDED AS FOLLOWS BASED ON QUESTIONS FROM INDUSTRY: 1. Will the transfer of all 36 firearms be done under one person or will these be done as 36 individual transfers? Response: One person will sign for all the firearms. 2. How far from Wasilla, AK are y’all willing to drive to do the local FFL transfer? Response: 60 Miles 3. This particular model of the 870 is very hard to allocate normally. Would it be acceptable to have the transfers done in batches as long as all transfers are completed by February 15 2025, or do you prefer to have them all done in one go? Response: Shipping the firearms in batches is acceptable, as long as all firearms are received by 15 February 2025.
