NRCS NSSC SCAN requires OTT HydroMet Corp’s PWS 100 Alter Type Windshields (PN: 70.035.020.1.2) for accurate assessment of precipitation accumulation of hydro-meteorological data retrieval systems. Windshields support mission critical operations in water supply forecasting and drought prediction for SCAN network. OTT HydroMet Corp windshields are only windshields tested and approved for installation at SCAN weather stations. OTT HydroMet provided letter dated September 25, 2024 affirms contractor is sole manufacturer of required windshields.
