This procurement action also required the trade-in of obsolete equipment. Trimble, Inc. representatives confirmed that Trimble, Inc. has a no trade-in policy but does have an agreement with the local distributor to negotiate and accept used Trimble equipment. The vendor applies the discounted equipment prices toward the purchase new survey equipment. No other distributor will accept obsolete Trimble equipment.
