Solicitation: FS1060459 Posted: April 26, 2022 Due: May 18th, 2022 POC: Eric Asper, eric.asper@usda.gov Notice of Intent – Sole Source The USDA Forest Service, Curlew Job Corps Center, intends to award a sole source commercial contract to MBH Electrical. The requirement is to provide routine and 24-hour response time emergency electrical maintenance services for existing systems, located at the Curlew Job Corps Center located in Curlew, Washington. The contract will be a multi-year, one base year with four option years, firm fixed price contract. This sole source action is being accomplished in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-7(a)(2). The North America Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 238210 and the size standard is $16,500,000. The Government believes that MBH Electrical is the only known source that can and will satisfy the requirement is to provide routine and 24-hour response time emergency electrical maintenance services for existing systems, located at the Curlew Job Corps Center located in Curlew, Washington. This is not a request for competitive quotes, but serves as a procurement notice to fulfill public posting requirements in accordance with FAR 5.2. Responsible firms believing they can provide the required items are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer referencing solicitation # FS1060459; however, they must provide supporting evidence they can provide routine and 24-hour response time emergency electrical maintenance services for existing systems, located at the Curlew Job Corps Center located in Curlew, Washington listed in the solicitation. All responses will be fully considered. If no affirmative responses are received by May 18th, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. Mountain Day Light Time to the effect that a comparable source exists, a contract will be placed with MBH Electrical for the requirements stated here.
