The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation Business Center (FPAC-BC), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has a requirement to purchase one (1) Bruker Tracer 5g XRF and accessories. The North Dakota NRCS in Bismarck, North Dakota conducts various field analyses and studies associated with the soil and plant science disciplines in support of the Natural Resources Conservation Service mission. The Bruker Tracer 5g XRF will serve as an upgrade to the current portable XRF being used and will be able to measure total soil elemental Sodium (Na) to Uranium (U) and as well as nutrients and heavy metals in dried plant materials.
