Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The USDA intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Headwall for Headwall - Visible/near-infrared (VNIR) hyperspectral imaging system turnkey package integrated on DJI M600 UAV with high- erf GPS and 16 channel LiDAR. The purpose of this contract is to secure Headwalls Headwall - Visible/near-infrared (VNIR) hyperspectral imaging system turnkey package with the following Specifications: • Nano-Hyperspec VNIR spectrometer, radiometrically calibrated Standard integration onto DJI M600 UAV with custom gimbal, includes spare battery sets (2 additional gimbal battery and 2 additional battery sets for the UAV), • Hexchargers(2) and transport case GPS/INS, antennas, and associated GPS software (includes post-processing software on high-performance) Headwall Airborne Operations software package for data acquisition and post-processing • Airborne Accessory Kit: reflectance calibration tarp, tablet, flight planning software 16-Channel LiDAR option includes LiDAR Tools software package for creating LAS and DEM files as well as fusing hyperspectral and LiDAR data • Training: 1 day of training online or at Headwall headquarters, scheduled bi-monthly Additional training charge for custom training if not delivered with bi-monthly class Support: 1-year hardware & software warranty plus 1 year technical support and software maintenance • Reference Headwall product data sheet: Nano-Hyperspec® with DJI M600. • 17mm, F/1.4, 400-1000nm, Compact Barrel, C-Mount. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
