Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The USDA intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Puregas Inc. for CO2 Adsorber / Dryer Model CAS4-11 individual units (Qty 6). The purpose of this contract is to secure six (6) Puregas, Inc Model CAS4-11 individual CO2 Adsorber / Dryer Model CAS411 individual units with the following Specifications: a. Units contain 13x molecular sieve and catalyst media in a pressure swing adsorption process for adsorption of CO2 b. Outlet CO2 levels reduced to less than 1 ppm and outlet H2O levels to less than 100 degrees Fahrenheit dewpoint c. Venting of adsorbed moisture and CO2 to the atmosphere while provision for dry CO2 to be added to the outlet port with flows up to 11.3 SCFM d. Outlet port is up to 180 LPM and inlet flow is up to 320 LPM. e. Inlet / Outlet ports are 0.5 inches f. Units are complete, self-contained enclosed compact units capable of removing CO2 and water vapor from compressed air stream g. Standard voltage is 115 VAC with standard operating pressures from 50 to 150 psig. h. Weight of individual unit is less than 70 pounds with less than 50 inch height, less than 12 inch width, and less than 9 inch depth. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
