This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Requisition #: 966618 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-03 through July 12, 2019. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, a written solicitation will not be issued. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332410 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This requirement is a Total Small Business set-aside and only qualified and SAM registered offerors may submit quotes. USDA ARS PWA NCGR Corvallis, OR requires the replacement of an existing boiler with a new boiler of the same capacity. Existing boiler was installed in 2008 and is Aerco Benchmark 2.0 Model BMK-2.0 GWB (Gas Fired Hot Water Boiler System). Photos/boiler technical data sheet provided below. Work includes disconnection, removal and disposal of the existing boiler. Purchase, delivery, set up and connection of the new boiler in the same location of the boiler removed. Fabricate/modify/ add to existing heat loop piping to connect the new boiler (supply and return). Reconnect gas, condensate and drain piping and flue. Reconnect electric, control and program (Johnson META System). Site voltage is 208V, 3.0 phase. Start and test to ensure boiler is functioning properly with existing controls. If required, obtain State permit and coordinate any local inspections required by the City/County/State. This solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document, with clauses and provisions, is issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and will be awarded as a firm-fixed price purchase order. Interested vendors should reference the solicitation documents for all terms and conditions. As authorized by FAR 5.102, solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and the USDA will provide no hard copies. The solicitation, consisting of various solicitation documents, specifications, forms, and drawings will only be available for download at no charge at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (http://www.fbo.gov). No other site shall be used to obtain these documents.
