This Sources Sought notice is a request for information to be used for preliminary market research and planning purposes only. The Government is seeking responses from contractors interested and capable of performing the required services. No proposals are being requested or accepted. This is NOT a solicitation and no contract will be awarded from this notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of interested parties including Small Business (SB); 8A; Historically Underutilized Business (HUBZone); Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOB); and Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB). The Flathead National Forest is made up of the Tally Lake and Hungry Horse Ranger Districts. The Western Montana Acquisition Zone expects to solicit for Copier maintenance service for 2 Canon machines. In order to determine the extent of industry interest and capability, interested parties must submit by mail to, Attn: Theresa Peterson 24 Fort Missoula Rd. Missoula, MT 59804 or email theresa.peterson@usda.gov. Responses are due by 6 February 2020 @ 1000 MST. The responses shall include: 1) Name of Firm, Point of Contact, Mailing Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS number. 2) Identification of the appropriate small business eligibility as determined by the NAICS size standards, the Small Business Administration and registration in System for Award Management (SAM), including SB, HUBZone, 8A, SDVOB and WOSB. 3) A brief description of experience providing this type of services including dollar value of previous work performed within the past three years. Description of copiers: 1 ea. Canon C5255 SN JMG01323 located in Kalispell, MT. This machine uses approximately 150,000 black & white and 150,000 color copies per year. 1 ea. Canon C5045 SN EUK50183 located in Hungry Horse, MT. This machine uses approximately 50,000 black & white and 25,000 color copies per year. Service will be expected within 24 hours of call. A certified Canon mechanic will be required. The work includes but is not limited to furnishing labor, equipment as necessary to repair, supervision, transportation, operating supplies (toner), and all incidentals necessary to provide copier maintenance. Estimated start work date is March 1, 2020. The maintenance will run for one year. Prospective awardees Must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be awarded a Federal Contract. Authority for this procurement is FAR 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding simplified acquisition threshold.
